Statement on 9/11: "Humanity stands at a crossroad: either we recognize the biophysical limits of our planet, and power down our societies with an aim of preserving democracy, human rights, and ecological integrity, or we fight over the remaining resources, excluding billions from their fair share, leading to authoritarian control and ecological collapse. 9/11 Truth and awareness is key to overturning decades of lies and obfuscation that prevent us from achieving a better world for all. As an elected official, I took an oath to uphold and defend the U. S. Constitution. I support Scientists for 9/11 Truth as its work is essential for exposing the falsehoods that undermine our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and that subvert public policy to expand empire in violation of our democratic ideals."
